New Growth

“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; 1 Peter 5:2–3

My sister-in-law had a massive stroke two months ago and she is living with her brother and me as she rehabs and recovers. She is a delight. 

My therapy has always been gardening ... so I did what I know - had her planting seeds for the year ahead. We'll have sweet peas in the spring.

Being a caregiver brings with it simple joys and a humbling reminder about gratitude.
